To ensure your wheels do not obstruct with your D2 brake kit, using a wheel fitment template is highly recommended to check clearances between the caliper and wheel.
Where there is an obstruction, a spacer can be used to provide additional clearance.
1. Print and cutout the received template and affix to a solid backing like cardboard.
2. Lay the template inside the wheel as per picture with the bottom section flush against the edge of wheel centre bore.
Verify there is minimum 4mm clearance between the template dotted line and the top of rim and spoke.
3. If your wheel uses wheel weights, it may be necessary to relocate them to the inside of the wheel as it may obstruct the top of the caliper.
